A New Class for Older Beginners

Hello! We are looking at trying to pull together a new class the week of August 8 - 11. It would be a semi-private beginner class (just 2 or 3 students) for older kids who don't know how to swim independently in water over their head (ages 9 - 13ish). The class would take place either 8:30 - 9:00 or 2:00 - 2:30 on those dates, and the cost would range from $25 - $40 per child depending on the number of students we got signed up. How to Sign Up for Swimming Lessons

Thanks to the incredible support of our past clients and many of our new clients we are very full. We do have a few spots open and you can click on "schedule" to see where those are. However, if you're interested in being on our waiting list, click on "schedule", scroll to the bottom to read a description of the levels and decide what level(s), date(s) and time(s) will work for you. Then email me at cathyslilfish@gmail.com and let me know what you want to be on the waiting list for. For example, you could say, "I need 1 beginner and 1 intermediate spot back-to-back July 18 - 28 anytime between 9 - 12."

If we are unable to get you into lessons this year, feel free to email me and ask to be put on our email list. Then, in spring 2012 you'll receive an email letting you know when registration opens and the summer schedule is up. That way you can be one of the first to sign up next year. Thank you so much for your interest and we hope to be able to accomodate as many people as possible!

Thunderstorms and evening classes

UPDATE: Looks like the storm is almost passed over so the 5:00 class is good to go. It's still sprinkling (although that might clear out by 5:00), but the wind has died down and we're not seeing or hearing any more thunder or lightning. We will update this if anything changes for the later classes!

As of right now we had to cancel the 4:00 class and we are waiting about 10 minutes to see if the thunderstorm passes over. If it does, we will start the 4:30 class about 10 minutes late and all of the classes will be running 10 minutes late. If not, we will cancel the 4:30 class and keep you updated. If you have a later class, please check back every 15 minutes or so and we will let you know if your class is canceled or not. Thanks!

It's raining and we're swimming!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted you to know the forecast is rain, but thunderstorms, if they hit, won't be until late in the evening. So we are planning on swimming all day. If things change, just check back here.
