We are a family-run swim business located in Boise, Idaho that has been serving families from all over the Treasure Valley for more than 15 years. We are passionate about educating children and adults of all ages about water safety, basic swimming skills, and stroke development in a safe, positive, encouraging, and FUN environment. 🏊 Time Slot Breakdown

How much time should I book?

⏱ 15-Minute Lessons

  • Ideal for one child (private), or two children of the same level (i.e. both beginners or both intermediates).  It is NOT recommended that two young children, under the age of 5, share a spot.  At that age it is very difficult for them to take turns and wait safely on the stair.

  • Max: 2 children

⏱ 30-Minute Lessons

  • Ideal for one child (private) or two children of the same level & close in age who are swimming intermediate or advanced.

  • Family group lessons for 3–4 children from the same family (mixed levels okay)

  • Assistant teacher in the pool

  • Max: 4 children

⏱ 45-Minute Lessons

  • Family group lessons of 4–6 children

  • Multiple levels allowed

  • Assistant teacher present

  • Max: 6 children in the pool at a time

❓ FAQ

Q: Can we share a lesson with another family?
A: Yes, but please arrive in one vehicle if at all possible. For semi-private lessons, children must be at the same level (i.e. both beginners or both intermediates). It is very challenging for young children, under the age of 5, to share a spot.  No more than 2 per time slot.

Q: Can I sign up for a 30-minute private lesson for one child?
A: You can, but for children ages 3–6, and especially beginners, we recommend sticking with 15-minute sessions—young swimmers stay more focused, and we can accomplish a lot in that time. For older or advanced swimmers, 30 minutes may be beneficial.

Q: My kids are very different ages. Can they take a lesson together?
A: Absolutely! If they’re at the same level, age doesn’t matter—we’ll tailor our teaching approach accordingly. In Family Group classes, even adults can join in!

Q: What if our situation doesn’t fit into these options?
A: Email us at cathyslilfish@gmail.com before registration opens, and we’ll help you find the right fit.

Q: Can we sign up for more than one week or session?
A: Definitely! You’re welcome to register for as many sessions as you’d like.
